13th SAAS conference Cáceres 5-7 April

NETEC members Araceli González Crespán and Martín Urdiales Shaw participated in the 13th SAAS Conference (Spanish Association for American Studies) organized by the University of Extremadura.

Araceli's paper “‘There’s no place to go’: Disease, Death and Destruction as Formal Strategies in The Danube was presented in the panel Inhuman Natures: US Women Plawrights and War (9-10:30 am, April 7)
 
Martín's paper “ ‘He was in no place and no place was in him’: Edward Dahlberg’s Drifting Identities in Bottom Dogs (1930) and Flushing to Calvary (1932)” was presented in the panel Space, Place and Human Nature in American Writing (12-13:30, April 5)
